How to Sow
- Create trenches in your soil of about 2cm deep and 6inches apart
- Take your carrot seeds and drop one every 2cm or so
- Rake fine soil over the trenches to cover the seeds and pat down gently
Plant Care
- Do not over-care or water the plants, so that the roots grown deep in search of nutrients
- The less tampering that happens during the carrot growth cycle, the less likely you are to attract carrot root fly

- Try sowing direct to containers or pots that are at least 9inches deep for a straighter crop
- The more accurate you are with the sowing, the less thinning out you’ll need to do
