How to Sow

  • Sow seeds upright in 2cm holes in compost in either pots, containers or cell trays indoors
  • Cover with compost, pat down and water

Plant Care

  • Once the first true leaves have shown, seedlings can be transplanted to larger pots or containers
  • Once larger than 8inches tall, the plants can be transferred to 12inch containers or direct to soil beds

AllotMe’s Tips

  • Make sure not to over or under water the plants. You can check by putting your hand under the top soil to see if it is still moist (if dry, feel free to water)
  • If your plant is flowering, but not producing fruit, then you can use a small brush to manually cross-polinate!
