  • Take a pinch and sprinkle thinly into each pot or cell
  • Cover the seeds with 0.5cm of compost, pat down and gently water

Plant Care

  • Once seedlings are a few inches tall, they can be transplanted to a container or into larger pots
  • Mint plants can be transplanted outdoors from early Spring
  • Mint like full sun or partial shady spots
  • Mint will go dormant during the Winter, when it can be a good time to do some pruning

AllotMe’s Tips

  • Many people buy mint plants, but you can start mint by sowing seeds in a cell tray or pots indoors during Winter
  • Mint can be an invasive plant species so choose carefully for your final transplanting location, as it has a tendency to take over!
